MEMBRANE BIO REACTOR (MBR) AND MOVING BED BIOFILM REACTOR (MBBR)

MEMBRANE BIO REACTOR (MBR) & MOVING BED BIOFILM REACTOR (MBBR)

Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR)
CBIPL’s Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) is a unique and compact wastewater treatment process combining a single sludge aerobic biological treatment process with an integrated, immersed membrane. This process is ideally suited in a wide range of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications including water reuse.
CBIPL’s MBR combines secondary, tertiary and advanced wastewater treatments. It can produce high quality effluent with up to 98% BOD removal, complete denitrification and partial denitrification, Treated effluent has low turbidity values (<0.3 NTU) and SDI values (<3.0) and Water can be reused for landscaping, flushing or feed to NF or RO Systems for complete water purification.
CBIPL’s MBR can be containerized or can be a design construction in accordance to site conditions.
CBIPL’s MBR Advantages:
• Small Space Required
• Better Solids Removal
• Low or Eliminated Surcharges
• Process Guarentee
• Less Sludge Production
• Lower Operational Costs
• Increased Volumetric Loading
• Decoupling of Hydraulic and Biomass Retention Time

Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR)

CBIPL’s Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) is a efficient biological treatment process based on a combination of conventional activated sludge and CWT's brand of biofilm media. This process is ideally suited in a wide range of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications specifically looking into nutrient and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) removal.
CBIPL’s MBBR plant requires 30% to 40 less space as compared to other conventional treatment systems. Which means less site activity, quick installation and commissioning. CWT’s MBBR’s are specifically designed for durability, ease in transportation and relocation, easy maintenance and minimal upkeep cost and civil work.
CBIPL’s MBBR Advantages:
• Higher Efficiency with Smaller Footprint
• (30 - 40% Savings in Space) and Less Civil Work
• Specially Formulated Time-tested Media For Attached
• Growth As Well As Sludge Settling
• Low Sludge Generation
• Less Sludge Production Thus Less Sludge Treatment and Disposal Cost
